(Midnite) Time for the old man to get his beauty sleep!
(10am) I have mostly blocked out memories from the past, but now and then something will trigger an old memory and bring it into consciousness. (Weird!)
Kids make life different! (They take up a lot of time and energy, require new priorities to be set, and they are expensive.)-(I am a terrible father now, but at least I am contributing some toward the financial element. (I bitch about poverty some, but it’s for a worthy cause!))
I shouldn’t complain about this time alone. (I have learned much, I have grown in a lot of ways, I have overcome my fear of being alone, I have learned to appreciate the simple things in life, and even the blue moments are better than my marriage.) (The downside is that getting away from people has allowed my phobias to increase and it’s going to be hard to return to being around people again.)
I have been buried at work dealing with more annexations. (This is my slack time and it’s nice to have something to keep me busy, but I really need to find some time to do some studying to improve my work skills.) (I also have a bunch of little projects I need to find some time for.)
Erica and I have been friends for seven years now. (I have never maintained a friendship for this long before. (Amazing!))
I never have understood fighting. (Violence is an admission of failure, and doesn’t solve anything!)
Tis about time to buy some more winter socks. (With all my walking they only last a year.)
(Noon) Laundry time again. (Yech!)
(3pm) Erica stopped by for a bowl and a brew. (Neat!)
