(5pm) I have been eating Advil all day, but I can’t shake this headache. (Yech!)
I got another rejection from a publisher today.

(1am) Well, I didn’t make it out the door again. (The joys of anxiety attacks.)
(10am) Sleep cured my headache. (Yeah!)
(1pm) I am still bummed about not being able to make it to the party! (Maybe I should try to shift my focus to the positive things I did? (e.g., I shaved, bought some good beer to take, rolled some joints to take, and got ready to walk out the door.))-(All dressed up to go out and someplace to go on a Saturday nite, but just too afraid to make it out the door. (Will I ever overcome?))
(3pm) I did some more editing on poems.
(4pm) My sister called and bs’d awhile. (Her hands are bothering her a lot! (She is going to try and get the operation this summer.)-(And she is seeing a lawyer to see if she can get worker’s compensation. (She would have trouble winning that one in Montana, but maybe the laws there are sufficiently different that she will get some money.))) (She says she has gained even more weight.) (Bill found another job.) (My dad isn’t feeling well. (It sounds minor.))
(6pm) Erica stopped by for a bowl and a brew. (Neat!)
She says it was a great party. (Good for them!) (Like she says, if I can’t make it there I don’t belong there! (Others would have been stuck babysitting me instead of having fun.))
(11pm) Another weekend bites the dust. (Yech!) (I am glad next week has a three day weekend.)
Tis going to be another busy week!
The Mayor is hinting that I should be working overtime now. (I can barely stand 40 hours there!) (They always say it’s temporary, but from what I have seen, the people who do start working more hours never see the end of it. (They end up burned out and quitting.)-(I have a lot of years to go before I can quit, so I need to pace myself.)) (I can understand the motivation though. (Politicians come in with a short period of time to carry out their agendas, and the more hours they can push people to work, the closer they come to achieving their goals within the allotted time.))
