I suppose I should be looking for ways to cheer up Erica, but I am so grumpy from quitting cigs that I am not into cheering anyone up.
(6pm) Erica stopped by and dropped off another letter. (Neat!)
For a change she was smiling today. (That is a good sign!)
I will have to live quiet awhile longer to find a wife again. (I don’t seem to be even close!)
I should go for a drive someday. (There is a lot of this region that is beautiful, but I haven’t seen much of it yet.) (When I was younger I used to drive a lot! (Now I can’t seem to get up for it. (Even if I could, I really can’t afford gas.)))
The colors are sure beautiful now!
Erica thinks my sister should get the surgery. (Yeah!) (She tends to drag things out.) (She has been in intense pain from one thing or another for years now.)
The withdrawal pain is diminishing and I don’t think about cigs as much. (Relief!)
Erica says she is going to start going to the women’s club with Linda. (It will be good for both of them!)
The lite came in. (I will have to set it up Saturday and start the routine.)
(8pm) The novocaine wore off. (So far it isn’t too bad.)
I suppose I need to get back to my goal of staying up until 10pm Sunday through Thursday and midnite on Friday and Saturday nites. (I have been real tired and haven’t had any energy. (Hopefully once my body adjusts to no nicotine that will change!))
I still think the best use of my limited resources is to buy the supplies necessary to be a good host. (I enjoy having company and hopefully by being a good host I will have more.)
The grow room has been expensive, but I only need to produce a couple ounces to recover that investment. (In the long run it’s a far cheaper way to deal with that.)
(9pm) I have been doing well at keeping my alcohol consumption down to two beers a day, other than the weekends. (Keep striving for moderation!)
Miranda hasn’t said anything more to me about breaking up with Danny, but Erica says they have been drifting apart. (I think they make a nice couple and I hope they at least remain friends.) (Maybe she is interested but still is afraid to make another commitment?) (Hopefully she will talk about it with someone. Like Erica she tends to hold stuff in, and that isn’t healthy.) (I hope she finds some happiness!)
(10pm) Quiet nite of movies. (Nice!)
