Beth commented once that the rules of single life have changed a lot since her divorce. (I wouldn’t know. (For the most part I quit the bar scene back in ’84. Back then people were worried about Herpes. Now there is Aids to be conscious of.)-(The enforcement of dui and drug laws has increased a lot since then.)) (She may be misperceiving some too though. (I would guess her rules for herself have changed, more than the single scene changed. (She has probably worked out part of her anger, matured, gotten weary of one nite stands, ….)-(Most people seem to pass through a number of phases after divorce and she is in a different phase now than when she first got divorced.)))
I have often wondered why I use parenthesis so much in my writing. (It just occurred to me that I use them in the same way I do at work with mathematical formulas.) (Whatever the reason I sure love them!)
Maybe once Erica figures out the single scene she will tell me about it? (I wasn’t any good at the old single scene and didn’t experience much of it then. (I saw people in bars, but I just heard stories about the parties, sex, road trips, ….)-(The bar part of it was just the tip of the iceberg, from what I could see.)) (Oh well, by the time I get back to where I am ready to try the single scene again, it will have changed again. (Most of the women who are single now will have beaus by then, and most of the one’s who will be single then have beaus now.)-(Hopefully one change will be a cure for Aids!))
(10am) I taped the tribute to Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly last nite and watched it this morning. (I want to get that album!)
I have been watching a lot of comedy lately. (Tis nice to laugh!)
The reason Beth didn’t call last weekend was that she didn’t make it in to work. (She said again this Friday that she was going to work this weekend. (I hope not, because then I would have to deal with work too, when she runs into computer problems.))
(1pm) Erica stopped by and brought the truck back. (Neat!)
Tis good to get some hiway miles on the truck. (It has been a long time since I have gone further than the Laundromat!)

According to that book, the amount of electricity a grow lite uses shouldn’t be too expensive or noticeable. (It did say to schedule the plants nite time during the day, so meter readers wouldn’t notice the meter spinning while no one is home. (I will have to learn to sleep with a lot of lite.))
It will need ventilation too. (I think it will be ok to just use a fan and leave the closet door open. (I will have to leave the bedroom door shut to keep the lite in and the cat out.))

(5am) Another thing that I have to find before I can try being single again is energy. (It means a lot of late nites and doing a lot more than I do now.)
