Tis going to be difficult to find a girlfriend who accepts and gets along with all my women friends, but I am not giving up friends for sex! (That is one way I am picky.) (I suppose one element of that is I still dont trust my own judgement and finding someone my women friends likes is a way of getting a second opinion.) (I gave up all my friends for my ex, and I still regret that choice!)
I am catching a nice buzz!
Tis sure getting windy! (Neat!)
I hope Miranda is having fun at her high school reunion!
Erica thinks that Linda and Paul should move. (That might be a good idea.) (They live there rent-free because he does odd jobs for the owners, but it might help if he got a regular job.)-(If they got on the same work schedule, he could spend time with his friends while she is spending time with hers.) (A couple needs to spend a lot of time together to keep making magic, but all the time smothers the individuals. (Like I have said, a couple needs to work at balancing the three entities involved (he, she and they).)-(Tis tough to get the right balance, and, over time, the balance point is going to change.)-(And, there are going to be times when one needs the other and the other is craving more time alone. (e.g., Miranda and Danny have to deal with that puzzle now.))
I finally got an eye glass repair kit and fixed my glasses. (Much better!)
(8pm) Tis raining hard now!
I hope D O found some place dry to hide out. (I worry too much!)
Oh yes, I told Miranda that I am not good enough yet for women and she said she thought I was just fine. (?) (My shyness gets in the way of anyone finding out, if I am.)
Friday nite Gwynn said she would like to go out one nite a week during the school year, but work gets in the way.
D O just came running in. (Relief!)
One of the women in the Treasurers office (Roz) is leaving. (She is nice!)-(She is in her mid-50s, her and her husband used to own a bar, and she rides a motorcycle to work.)-(Her husband has a job in a gold mine in California. (He has been working a month on and then two weeks off.) (His being gone for a month at a time is straining their relationship, so he found her a job there and she is moving. (She is both happy and sad about the move. She has lived her entire life within 50 miles of here and all her friends and family are here; but she wants to be with her husband.))) (Not many people make much money here, and its a familiar story.)
Teri has been bugging me to go to the City picnic. (I am just not up to spending time socially with people from work. (Fear rules my life still!))
