I wonder what Charlotte meant by her "If D O could talk" comment? (There has been more sex than in past years, but still not much.)
(2pm) I got my shopping chores done. (Tis nice getting things dealt with!)
(7pm) I did some more editing today. (It feels good to be back to writing!)
(8pm) There has to be trust in a relationship! (I know I experience feelings of jealousy, and I can understand why people respond, but it is counterproductive.) (I know I have lots of women friends and talk to a lot of different women, and it will get in the way of relationships unless I find a woman who trusts me.)-(I have grown a lot from knowing a lot of women and it’s good for me, and it’s good for women to know lots of men.)-(That seems to mess up a lot of relationships and it’s going to take a special woman to get along with me!)-(I have no desire for more than one lover, but I wonder if there is anyone who can believe that.)
One thing I have noticed is that Miranda and Charlotte complain about the same things in each other. (e.g., Miranda complained about Charlotte fibbing about the dog jumping out of the truck, and Charlotte complained about Miranda fibbing about Jim partying at her house the other nite. (They both fibbed to smooth over a potentially aggravating truth, and see it as ok for themselves to do that, but aren’t transferring the right to others.) (Why do many people tend to be more forgiving of themselves than of others? (Maybe because they see their own motives as benevolent, but don’t trust the motives of others? (e.g., my ex could talk to other guys, but I couldn’t talk to women.) (Confusing!))))
I hope Charlotte and Jim work things out (I have always thought that they make a nice couple.), but it doesn’t sound good at the moment. (When he told me what was bothering him, at that concert, he said he couldn’t talk to her about it because she would blow up at him. (It sounded like he has pretty much given up. (I can relate. (I couldn’t talk to my ex about anything, for fear of being attacked! (Looking back, I think that is wrong.)-(A couple needs to start communicating when they first start dating. If you end up fighting all the time, it’s time to stop dating and find someone else. (If they can’t accept and enjoy who you are, there is no basis for a relationship!) (I would say that a big part of why I put up with it was my desperation for marriage and sex, and not wanting to go back to alone and Rosie.) (Maybe Jim’s reasons are similar. He said that he isn’t any good at picking up women and doesn’t like being single. (Nice guys end up sleeping alone a lot when they are single.)))))))

(5am) Oh yes, Charlotte wanted to know when Erica was going to start bringing women by to meet me. (I told her that I had asked, but Erica told me she isn’t a matchmaker.) (Erica has brought a few women by, but none of them have been interested in me.)
(6am) I couldn’t get psyched up for the Club, so I wrote my dad and started a letter to Samantha.
