Erica says D O and I will get used to each other in time. (I am not easy to get to know or to live with, and getting used to another is always a slow process for me.)

(5am) D O woke me up at 4am and I couldn't get back to sleep. (Oh well!) (I am starting to suspect that she doesn't wake me up because she wants to be petted. (I am beginning to think what she wants is for me to get up and feed her.))
Given the reasons Miranda's ex beau gave her for breaking up with her (i.e. he didn’t want to get married.), his getting married 15 months later seems like a contradiction. (Miranda might have some new pain to work through now.)-(Tis good she has Danny to help her through it.)
Erica's only complaint about Danny is that he isn't very industrious. (I think the only thing that is important is that he makes Miranda happy.) (Miranda can't change him (She is a Scorpio and they supposedly like trying to change others.), but he may change himself as he gets older.)
I haven't watched many movies lately. (I will have to get back into them!)
There was an interesting show about sex on tv last nite. (It pissed me off when a guy from the U.S. Health Department said Aids was good because it promotes sexual monogamy, and discourages teenagers from having sex.) (I wish people would stop trying to deny human nature. (The reality of being human is serial monogamy intermixed with periods of polygamy.)) (Another weakness in the show was that they didn't deal with oral sex at all.) (Ultimately, the flaw still is that we look at sex from a patriarchal point of view that considers women and sex to be sinful. (Sex is a beautiful and joyous part of life and we have to stop viewing it as dirty and bad.))
I think of "survival expenses" as being food and shelter. I have a lot more than that and I am pretty damn lucky. (A lot of people think a lot more is necessary, but the past few years have taught me just how lucky I am.)
Erica has been talking about leaving Henry again. (Something is going on and she hasn't been comfortable talking to me about it.)
(6am) D O has been a bit friendlier this morning.
(7am) The economic news in today's newspaper continues bleak. (Hang on to the City job and ride it out.)
I wrote my aunt in Vegas, and asked her about my ideas on marketing "Feelings". (Maybe she will come up with some suggestions.) (I will have to draft a new cover letter and try another publisher soon.)-(With the economy down, publishers may be sticking with established writers for now.)
