Then to Luke’s, Hubcaps, and back to Corky's. (Some woman picked me up at Corky's, but all she wanted was the bottle. (She ended up crashing on the extra bed.))
(10am) I started a new batch of poems last nite. (Neat.)
(Noon) I took myself out for breakfast and I feel much better now.
Here is a new one: I was sitting at the bar last nite and this guy told me that, if I am going to be in Corky’s, I have to stop being happy and start frowning. (That is a switch.)
(1pm) I got a little of my work done, but I am pretty burned out still. (I think I will go ahead and get the drive back to Bozeman over with.)
I am going to hire Erica to load all the poems from "Outlaws and Poets" onto the word processor for me. (I have more work than I can handle right now.)
(5pm) Nice drive.
I sure got shitfaced last nite. (And made a fool of myself again. (Oh well, I learned from it, so!))

Carrie says the bright side of my love life is that my condom expenses are nonexistent. (It sounds like the Aids epidemic has changed her feelings about sexual monogamy.)
I really don't have any particular desire to fuck a lot of women, but there isn't one woman in my life. (And, I think that is still a long ways off.)
I haven't seen Erica since I started this contract. (She takes care of my plants and brings in my newspapers, but she has been doing a lot of skiing and traveling.)-(When I am in town, she is out; and when she is in, I am out.)-(I hope that is all it is and she isn’t pissed at me still.)
In "Intimate connections" Nelson says shy people shouldn't go out and stick with the first person they find who will spend time with them. (I don't know. (I haven't had any "dates" and no lovers, but I have spent a lot of time with a lot of different women.)) (Still, one big reason I got involved with my ex was she was about the first woman who wanted to be my lover, and it had been almost a year since my last date. And, a big reason I stayed so long with her was simply to keep sex in my life.) (I suppose I should forget about looking for a lover now, and focus on finding several.) (Oh well, I am getting confused again, so forget about it.)
