(In the mean time, writing to Erica and Carrie is sufficient companionship.))

Now tis laundry time. (My car's still dead, so I get to play pack mule some more.)
Carrie says she doesn't want to do Nautilus because it isn’t feminine. (Erica and Gwynn both do it and they both look great!)
I am not sure the military experience does anything good besides exercise and education. (Tis one of the foundations of chauvinism, along with the Church.) (All sub-cultures that are primarily male only environments seem to tend towards really anti-social behavior. (e.g., rape was one of the primary rewards given to the soldier throughout history.))
Carrie says she has a tiny apartment there and it costs her $400 a month. (That seems outrageous to me. (My total housing costs run around $300, with cable tv, phone, and utilities. (It isn’t big enough for two, but it's a nice size for one.))) (With the new tax law, the long-term trend in rents is going to be up, so I guess we should appreciate that the raises aren't here yet.)
The weather is back to gray today.

Looks like a quiet nite of solitaire.
Now to whip up some rice-a-roni.
(7pm) I am really getting into the popcorn popper I got for Xmas. (Neat!)
(11pm) I overheard two guys talking in the locker room today. (The one guy was talking about some new book called "Positive addictions". (His comment was, "Isn't that like military intelligence?"))
