I commented in a letter to Erica that when the two of us are out and about, if she saw someone she wanted to chase I could find my way home alone, and that she should go for it. (That is how it was with Samantha and Kate.) (She wrote back that she never does such things, and that all her lovers are long time friends first. (That tends to encourage me that there is some hope for my idea of beginning with friendships in looking for friends and lovers.)-(Maybe it isn’t the idea that is wrong, but other parts of me?)) (Samantha is pretty much the same way as Erica, in that she has one beau she lives with and other lovers on the side. (Most of Samantha's are also friends she has known for years.)-(Actually, the times when Samantha gets in trouble playing around, is when she forgets that. (Tis when she gets wasted, goes for lust, and does some stranger; that she finds problems.)))
Speaking of Samantha, I am still torn as to what to say about her renting my spare room this summer. (A summer away from Bozeman could do her some good; but I am still worried it would end up costing me money. (Samantha's always been willing to pay her own way, and there have been a few times when she has paid my way; but she is so often unemployed and broke that I usually paid her way.)-(Also, as I learned in sharing an apartment with Caroline, having a woman around stimulates my libido and makes celibacy even more painful.)-(Also she gets in the way of me meeting other women sometimes. (e.g., last week I was trying to talk with Caroline, but Samantha kept moving in between us and monopolizing the conversation; so that I couldn't.)-(e.g., all the rumors there about her and I being married.))) Maria is pissed at me because I am not sending my poetry to publishers, and because I haven't begun a novel. (She thinks I would get rich from my writing, if I just tried.) (All the rejection messed me up and I had to stop for now anyway.)
Oh yes, I wrote Erica about her comment that she didn't know what I was doing wrong in chasing women because she had never seen me chase any. (She says she is sorry, but she had never noticed that I had been chasing her, and had always figured we were just friends. (Oh well.))-(I will have to be more obvious, if I ever chase anyone else.)
I really like my new bike. (The only big problem I have noticed is that it's harder to girl watch when I’m riding than when I walk.)
(3pm) I got a letter today from Nikki. (She says she has given up on giving up men, again; and has two new beaus. (I hope these aren't married. (In the past, she has gone out with married men so she won't get involved and just has fun. Then she falls for them, and ends up getting pissed and ending the relationships, because they won't leave their wives.)))
(9pm) I stopped in Flippers after work, visited with Erica, and shot some pool. After she got off work, she rode my bike over to Connie's (She likes the bike.), and we had a couple drinks and visited some more there. Then Erica split and I stayed awhile and visited some with her friend Kirstie. (Tis interesting that I have known Erica for years, but I learned more about Henry tonite from Kirstie, than Erica has said in all that time.)-(I would have thought that Erica would have mentioned about Henry studying accounting, after all the years I have talked about it.)-(?)-(I have told her a lot about me, but I barely know her.)
