(8am) I went over to Leo's again last nite, played cribbage with them and bs'd. (Twas nice getting away from the books for awhile.)

(10am) Samantha and I ate some shrooms, and went to the park for the Otis Clay concert. (It rained the whole time and the sound system was shitty, so we walked down to the Paw.) (Then I just wandered around town in the rain for a few hours. (I ended up soaked and covered with mud, but it felt good.))

(10am) Carrie, her younger brother, and one of his friends came to town yesterday; so the guys could get set up to begin college here this fall.
We decided to do some shrooms and take a cruise through Yellowstone Park. (That was a lot of fun!) (At one of our stops in Yellowstone, Carrie and I took off for a walk in the woods, exploring, and talking.)-(We even found a hot pot that looked as if it could lead to the womb of the Earth.) (We also stopped at Boiling River, soaked and played.)
When we got back to town Carrie and I walked over to Leo's and said hi to Samantha.
Then we went over to visit some of Carrie's other friends, and ended up partying down at the Filler.
This was the nicest day so far this year!
Every time I do shrooms I seem to lose a little more of my chauvinism for some reason. (And I become less obsessed with finding a lover.) (Sexual rituals seem to cause friction between men and women, and I enjoy my women friends too much to risk losing those friendships.) (I wonder if its possible to overcome our social conditioning enough to build a relationship that is in harmony, rather than one that is torn by insecurity, jealousy, dependence, ...? (And I still wonder, if its possible to build such a relationship, if one doesn't have to scrap the system of social rituals which is the foundation of traditional relationships.))
(1pm) I ran into Emily at the laundromat today. (She just had her baby last week, and, as she predicted, its a girl. (She says the baby is bringing her closer together with her parents and that she is planning to start school full time again this fall. (I am glad she is happy and doing well.)))
(6pm) I went up to the park this afternoon to check out the art show and the girl watching. (Both were pleasant.)

(8am) Note from the ozone: I have noticed that alcohol seems to act as a stimulus for chauvinism. (e.g., the fellows who get drunk and then beat the woman in their life.) (I wonder if part of the why of that is tied into how alcohol has often been used in our society as part of our sexual rituals. (e.g., tis a way to find the courage to be aggressive and an excuse for allowing our inhibitions to be lowered, so that the moment can happen.))
