Josh dropped by this evening and caught me up on all the goings on in his life. (It sounds like things are pretty hectic.)

(8pm) I got a letter from Erica today and she is doing well still. (I am glad.)

I got a call from Carrie tonite and she is doing well also. (Good for her.)

Note from the ozone: Why is there a correlation between the men women complain the most about and the men who they take to bed?

(9pm) Note from the ozone: Wouldn’t my comments about tyranny also apply at the family level too? (i.e., the tyrannical father controls the family by keeping them dependent upon him for survival; and maintains that dependency by alienating them, especially the wife, from the rest of society. (e.g., one of my women friends is married to a very domineering (and insecure) fellow who has managed to cut her off from her family, friends, and church. He won't allow her to work; making her and her children totally dependent and isolated. (I was thinking about her comment that he doesn't beat her as long as the scar from the last beating can be seen. She thought it reminded him of what he had done and deterred him until it faded away; but maybe the scars are his "brand" and when it fades he has to rebrand her, to mark her as his possession?)))

If I do decide to move on to Missoula, maybe I will check out Erica's friend Gwynn. (She has neat eyes and is a sweetheart!) (I suppose she has a beau though.)
