(8pm) Quote:
Eric Berne-"But most of the members of the human
race have lost the capacity to be painters, poets or musicians, and are not left the
option of seeing and hearing directly even if they can afford to; they must get it second
hand."
(9pm) Quiet evening.
Samantha brought my car back and visited a bit.
Note from the ozone: Shouldnt it be a function of government to insure that its possible for everyone to meet the basic needs for survival? And isn't the definition of what survival needs are, defined by the conditioning of the culture the government is ruling? (Isn't the core of all revolution that the government hasn't carried out that function?) (If our governments today don't stop building more weapons, instead of taking care to fulfill their obligation to their people; don't we face the potential for revolution all over the world? (Presuming the people are able to overcome their alienation and the fractures which break us into small groups, and organize.)) (Isn't the current "war on drugs" merely another way the government has created a fracture within society, pitting people against each other?)-(I have spent close to two decades as a member of the drug subculture. I have met a few "bad" people, but no more so than I have found existing in other subcultures. (The only thing wrong with most of them is that they don't like themselves a whole lot. (Putting them in prison just aggravates their self-hate.)-(And having others in society hate them because of their lifestyle, also makes them like themselves less.)) (We have to start loving each other and appreciating the humanity and freedom of choice of our brothers and sisters.))
