I went to another jazz dance class with Hunter tonite. (That was fun, but my feet just don't want to go where the instructor wants them to go. (They seem to have their own idea about how to follow the music.))

(7am) Hunter spent the nite with Carrie last nite. (Maybe they will get back together here soon.)
I weighed myself the other nite at the club where the dance class was. (It said 168? (I would have guessed 180.))
(10am) Quote:
Edna Kramer-Pythagorean Society (Ca. 550 BC)-"The
gist of their faith was that 1 represents reason, 2 stood for man, 3 for woman, 5
represented marriage, since it is formed by the union of 2 & 3. 4 stood for justice,
since it is the product of equals. All the even numbers were regarded as soluble,
therefore ephemeral, feminine, pertaining to the earth; odd numbers were indissoluble,
masculine, partaking of celestial nature."
Note from the ozone: Is our society's war on drugs related to its distaste for intuition and emotion? (Our culture sure seems to have an obsession with analytical thought.) (People aren't here to be machines, or to be slaves; but to learn and grow. (And that requires a blending of analysis, intuition, emotion, ....))
(11am) I have been thinking about what Billie was telling me about what she is going through. (Being beaten repeatedly, and continuing to stay with him seems idiotic to me; but lots of women go through it. (Her justifications are:
1. Fear of even more intense violence that might not be limited to her. (e.g., her kids and family)
2. Fear of losing all her material possessions. (There seem to be a lot of people who stay together because of money.)
3. Feeling that its somehow her fault.
4. Feeling embarrassment over having failed at marriage again.
5. Being embarrassed to seek assistance again from Welfare. (Many women are still financially dependent.)-(That is a tough one.)-(Personally, I feel child support is justified, but not alimony.)
6. Not wanting to give up a good f. (I will agree that celibacy and f'ing around aren't as nice as have a regular lover.)))
Note from the ozone: I don't agree with our culture labeling prostitutes as bad. (That is a part of life that isnt going to disappear and which often serves a positive function in society; so why fight it?)-(Given the fiscal state of our governments, it would seem wise to stop spending money trying to keep it illegal and start collecting tax income off of it.) (I have met a lot of prostitutes over the years (some professionally) and very few were bad people. Mostly they are unskilled women who are trying to support themselves and their children, and that is the best way they know how to do it.)-(The only real problems I see associated with the profession are outgrowths of it being illegal.) (I resent others imposing their religious and moral beliefs upon me. (This is supposed to be a free society.))
(1pm) Samantha stopped by, bs'd and then bought me a frosty at Wendy's. (She got accepted for the financial aid program at the university this fall. (Good for her.)) (She also introduced me to a woman she thought I might like, but we didn't hit it off. (I am probably wrong, but fat women don't excite me.))
